Firewall security system:
a) Robust application level attack prevention.
b) Network level attack prevention.
c) Network address translation (NAT) and post address translation (PAT) which hide internal IP address.
d) Transparent mode deployment option. Dos protection with minimal change to the existing Network.
Denial of service protection:
WinSock Corporation’s integrated firewall/IPSec VPN solutions include built-in Denial of Service (DoS) and attack protection, leveraging Stateful inspection to look for and then allow or deny all connection attempts that require crossing an interface on their way to and from the intended destination. As a result, WinSock Corporation can be configured to protect against more than 30 different attacks, both internal and external.
Intrusion detection and prevention
In the offing are tools that meld the best of firewall, IDS, anti virus and vulnerability-assessment technologies with the intent of preventing attacks automatically. The emphasis is on the automation. Our environmental diagram shows the prevention method.
Encryption:
Once you have access controls in place, encryption should then be implemented. Encryption provides an additional restriction if access controls are circumvented. In other words, encryption should stop someone who has already broken through the “first line of defense.” Even when the hacker has broken through the first door – ACCESS CONTROL – encryption forms the next barrier of entry.
